You must agree to these Terms and the Community Guidelines before registering, signing in, linking or recovering an identity, or using interactive features. LakePoints has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.
Responsible use
LakePoints is an informational recreation guide—not a navigational chart, emergency service, or guarantee of safe access. You are responsible for navigation, weather awareness, vessel operation, permissions, and compliance with laws and posted restrictions.
Accounts and usernames
You are responsible for activity associated with your contributor identity. Do not impersonate others, evade moderation, manipulate visits or flags, or choose an abusive or misleading username.
Community content
By submitting content, you confirm that you have the right to provide it and that it does not violate privacy, intellectual-property, safety, or other rights. You grant LakePoints a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, resize, display, distribute, and moderate the submission for operating and promoting LakePoints. You retain ownership of your original content.
All submissions remain subject to pre-publication human moderation. Published material may later be edited, hidden, or removed. Review the Community Guidelines.
Reports and personal blocking
Use the in-app report controls for objectionable content or abusive users. Submitting a report immediately creates a personal block: the reported user and their content, identity, presence, interactions, and waves are hidden only from you. The report is not proof of a violation and is reviewed separately. Your personal block remains even if an administrator closes the report as No Violation.
Enforcement
Confirmed violations may result in content removal, removal of all user content, session revocation, or a global ban/ejection. LakePoints targets review of reports within 24 hours. Reports, decisions, and resolution audit data are retained for safety and accountability.
Game features
Passport stamps, flags, achievements, and leaderboards are recreational. GPS readings, anti-abuse rules, expiration, moderation, or technical issues may affect results. LakePoints may correct or remove fraudulent or erroneous game activity.
Availability and warranties
Information may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable. To the extent permitted by law, LakePoints is provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness, or safe passage.
